Sector Involvement

We believe that the change we want to see in the world, and the development of the impact investing sector, will only happen if there is active engagement and knowledge sharing among like-minded organizations and individuals. This is why we are proud to be involved with, and to contribute to, several relevant initiatives.

Impact Investing Initiatives

Impact Reporting and Investing Standards (IRIS) of the The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN)

The Global Impact Investing Network is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing. Even though we are not members of the GIIN to date, we regularly follow their updates; it is an invaluable source of research and best practices in the field. Additionally, our impact measurement activities are guided by the IRIS standards that were developed within the framework of the GIIN. Click here for further information.

ImpactBase

ImpactBase is a searchable, online database of impact investment funds. It provides players in the industry (such as investors, investment funds, foundations, development finance institutions, family offices and advisors) an efficient and organized mechanism for finding the information needed for the impact investing industry to succeed. The GAWA Microfinance Fund is searchable in that database. Click here for further information.
