Impact Reporting and Investing Standards (IRIS) of the The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN)
Global Impact Investing Network is a
not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the scale and
of impact investing.
Even though we are not members of the GIIN to date, we regularly follow their updates; it is an
invaluable source of research and best practices in the field.

ImpactBase is a searchable, online database of
impact investment funds. It provides players in the industry (such as
investors, investment funds, foundations, development finance institutions,
family offices and advisors) an efficient and organized mechanism for finding
the information needed for the impact investing industry to succeed. The GAWA

MIX is the premier source for microfinance
performance data and analysis. Committed to strengthening financial
inclusion and the microfinance sector by promoting transparency, MIX
provides information on microfinance institutions (MFIs), funders,

Smart Campaign is a global effort, guided by microfinance leaders. The
campaign is an effort to unite microfinance leaders around a common
goal: to keep clients as the driving force of the industry and promote
client protection. It has brought people together across microfinance to
implement a common code of conduct and to help implement client

Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) consists of over 1,000 members
from all over the world and from every microfinance stakeholder group.
Its mission is to engage with microfinance stakeholders to develop,
disseminate and promote standards and good practices for social
