Rome, July 2th, 2012. Luca Torre, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Gawa Capital Partners SL, was invited as panel member at the Open Ended Working Group (OEWG) of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) at FAO headquarters in Rome.

July 2th, 2012. Luca Torre, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Gawa Capital Partners SL, was invited as panel member at the Open Ended Working Group (OEWG) on principles for responsible agricultural investment (rai) at FAO of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS).

The workshop started an inclusive consultation process within CFS for the development and broader ownership of principles for responsible agricultural investments that enhance food security and nutrition. The workshop focused on sharing information and raising awareness about ongoing initiatives relative to responsible agricultural investment, and collecting suggestions and opinions from CFS stakeholders on the preparation of terms of reference for the following consultation process.

Luca attended as a panel member and as a speaker sharing his deep knowledge on social impact investment in rural area in three different continents. Indeed, Gawa Capital actions always focused on fostering economic inclusion in order to improve beneficiaries’ life conditions, food security and overall health.
