GAWA Capital launches Huruma Fund in an event led by COFIDES

On 19 November 2020 Cofides held an event called “Impact Investing in times of the pandemic” in which Huruma Fund was presented. Participants in the event included, among others, Xiama Mendez - Secretary of State for Commerce, Sir Paul Collier, Professor José Antonio Alonso, Leonard Mizzi - Head of Rural Development, Food Security and Nutrition of the European Commission. Both Luca Torre and Agustin Vitórica presented the Huruma Fund. Carlos Andrés Holguin, CEO of INSOTEC, one of Huruma’s investees, presented the organization and the work it is doing in value chains promotion in Ecuador.
